Peter wrote in 1Peter 5:5-7 “…Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”

Everything you do, do with humility. Being humble is not being unsure of who you are or afraid of the consequences of your actions. Being humble is not acquiescing to the authority of man. Being humble is quietly knowing (with full assurance of the grace of God) that you are worthy and that your actions are in accordance with God’s will. Knowing not with loud boisterous words rather knowing in your heart without the need of acceptance by any man.

Do not seek riches and glory, seek only the Lord, speak only of salvation and the glory of God. Do not be concerned about your wellbeing, remember to be humble and remember that God has everything under His control. Do all things in the knowledge that the timing of the Lord is perfect and that you will receive your just reward.
