When you begin a new opportunity to serve others and shine for the Lord is when you are most vulnerable to criticism from doubters. Be aware of this and stay prepared to refute criticism from others. Only allow people who will not try to pull you away with false accusations, false promises or empty threats. Choose your friends wisely and listen to their counsel; but let the Lord be the final decision maker in your life.

Stay the course, run the race to completion, do the work of God and be there to see Jesus when your journey is done. Satan will use deceit, procrastination, doubt, fear and all of your emotions to try to persuade you of the folly of serving others. Do not be distracted, do not take your mind from the job at hand.

Every action we take, every word we speak, every thought we think should all be directed by our love for God. He needs to be at the beginning and the end of every day, every hour, every minute.

Keep your eyes on Jesus and do not be swayed from your work for the Lord.
