The small choices that we make daily become the summation of our lives. We are remembered by those we love and who love us by the everyday gestures of affection, by how we treat them and others. Every day we show those around us who we really are and every action we take further cements our personality and our legacy.

Take good care of each moment of your life, watch each action that you take. If you profess to be a Christian, your movements will be tracked carefully by those around you. They will be ready and waiting for you to show your flaws and when you do they will be quick to condemn and slow to forgive. When this happens you must not condemn at all and forgive instantly. It is in this moment that Christ will shine through you. It is in this moment that you move closer to the Lord.

It is not always in the joyful, peaceful and calm days of our lives when we mirror our Savior. More often it is in the tumult of shaken emotions and the anger of hurt feelings that Jesus shines through because it is then that we need Him most and He is a God of compassion and love. Others will see this if you allow it, others will learn what a true Christian is from you and not the news.
