Humbled with gratitude, awed by the kindness and hospitality and realizing our own shortcomings, we pray that we will be able to pay all of this forward. For three days Dudley and his crew have stopped by to feed us supper Cajun style. Yesterday he even came in the rain and all we could do was thank him and give him crosses made by a friend and bless him and his family.

We have the Lord, we have each other and we have faith and on Wednesday we have a check coming in. God is good and we learning that He is the God of ‘just in time’. The expression ‘what if’ is rapidly losing its influence in this household and being replaced by the expression ‘thank you Lord’. We give thanks for what the Lord has done and we thank Him for what He is going to do. We thank Him in all circumstances, we praise Him for He alone is worthy of our praise and we worship Him as the Lord of all creation and the Guide of our lives.

Peace and joy and happiness is ours and can be yours too. If you are reading this, you already know the drill. Ask Jesus into your heart, repent of your sins and begin the best first day of the rest of your life.
