This morning we spent time with Linda’s sister at the mall. She graciously met us there as we have been traveling so much and have stayed busy here in Dothan. It gave me an opportunity to have the House of Ruth wrap Linda’s gift and let them talk. They shared their lives with each other and drew closer. It was good for them to be together. Family is so important.

Next on the agenda today is laundry, tomorrow we head to Birmingham to spend Christmas with daughter Lori, Patrick and the youngest grandson Daniel. Back to Dothan for the last doctor’s appointment, me this time, to have a suspicious mole removed then on to Florida to see daughter Tara, Jason, the four grandchildren (Jennifer, Kim, Abbey and Benjamin) and our great granddaughter Makenzie.

This family thing is getting pretty awesome. The Lord has provided us with wonderful children who care about us and help us to stay focused on Him and His will for our lives. Only the Lord knows how long this journey will be for us. We will serve with joy in our hearts every day and continue forward toward our goal which is to finish in the arms of Jesus.
